I started practicing yoga in 2011 because quite honestly I didn't love cardio and there was no way I was walking into a gym.  At that time life was not all that great so mentally I was pretty lost.  I started attending classes as often as I could which was not easy due to living in the sticks.  I fell in love with the yoga experience.  Mostly I laughed and sometimes I cried, but I always left feeling stronger both physically and mentally.  Today I'm a yoga instructor who blends dynamic movement with powerful intentions to soothe, protect, and heal the body and the mind.  I teach yoga because it inspires self growth on and off the mat.
